Laura came to us shy and scared all the way from Puerto Rico with her sister Lucia. Since then Laura has blossomed into a silly sweetheart, who greets you with tail wags so big that her whole butt shakes with her fluffy tail. Laura loves to be loved and is a big kisser. She can’t get enough ear scratches and belly rubs. She happily rolls over to show you her belly when she wants some loving and will follow you to the ends of the earth and back if you’ll let her. Laura is shy with strangers initially, but she warms up quickly with a little patience and some tasty treats. Give her some time to settle in and she’ll be licking your fingers and pawing for attention. Laura loves other dogs and would enjoy having another dog for a playmate. She is also good with kitties so she can be everyone’s buddy. Laura loves to play and chew on her nylabones on giant fluffy dog beds. She would love a toy box filled with kongs and squeaky toys. She also enjoys the outdoors, squirrel hunting, and going for long walks. She’d be an excellent running buddy. Laura is housetrained, crate-trained, and working on her basic commands. She is eager to please and LOVES treats, so she learns quickly and has been a joy to train. She’d be a star student in an obedience class. Laura may take a little more effort to get to know, but she is worth every bit of it. Don’t miss out on this ball of love and joy!
